Tags, Links, and Traveling through blogs…

All right. This shouldn’t be that hard. Share some of my favorite “must read” blogs and copy a list of links (it’s that last part I’m not sure of!)… I have occasional technical issues on this stuff, but it shouldn’t be a challenge on the level of, say, cooking or cliff climbing…
I’ve been actively blogging for almost two months now. Previously, I had no idea that such diverse “living” communities lay just a couple of clicks beyond my on-line news skimming! As someone admittedly and hopelessly addicted to travel, visiting some of the better blogs has held some of the “here’s something new” element that I so enjoy when I walk anywhere outside my own zipcode.
Thank you “HotDogMan” for including me on your lists. In a supreme effort to catch up (have I mentioned I have three kids in four fall sports?), I’m also (and finally) tagging five personal favorites. -A few days after the fact, but with the genuine hope others will enjoy what I’ve “discovered”. Hope this isn’t akin to me throwing a whole mass of unsorted clothes into the washer…
First off: My 5 Tags…
Just copy paste this and everything below up until my Five links:———————————–
We can post up to five. Then we tell five more people to share their links. If we all share who tagged us, our links are sure to be seen!
They can be business links, favorite sites, affiliate links, whatever you want…
There are Five Rules:
1. MUST be clean. No R rated sites.
2. Only FIVE links.
3. MUST tell 5 people.
4. A link back to the person who tagged you
5. Lara’s Place is the meme originator. (an active link would be appreciated)
———– end copy paste ———————————–>
My (Heather’s) Five Tags:
My Brain Dump (A valued mentor, composer, and fellow voice-over talent)
Backwoods Drifter (An enjoyable journey off of the “paved path”)
Hin’s Photo Blog (Stunning photographs; affirming messages of Faith)
A Biker’s Rural Adventure in the Philippines (A Fellow Adventurer)
Nameless Grace (A Showcase for Emergent Talent)
AND NOW…. “The Hot Dog list”
The premise is simple: Write a post, and copy and paste my list from below into it. Make sure the links are active and correct. If your blog is on that list, remove it because your post isn’t about self-promotion. Don’t worry, because if your name is on mine, it’s on others and will spread. Add your favorite deserving blogs to the top of the list (not compulsory). Publish the post. People will notice the incoming links, and hopefully write their own z-list posts. The result will be that we all get more links pointing to our blogs, and more readers — it’s got to be good!
Key Points
1. Create a new post on your blog.
2. Copy and Paste the entire list of blog links below
3. Add any blogs that you want to include near the top of the list. (Optional)
4. Include the blog where you first got the list from, on the list in your post.
5. Make sure that all links are copied intact (use the source, Luke).
6. Publish the Post.

I did it! (I hope…) Ok. It’s your turn…

Two of my boys are currently in football and the third will start soccer soon. I’m not sure what’s gone wrong this year, but somehow the football practices have been at the same place and at the same time — about 50 yards away from each other and a mere three miles from where I live. I can only assume some sort of scheduling mistake has been made as I’m used to having, for example, one child at Whetstone Park of Roses, one in UA, and another in Hilliard.
Maybe this will all be sorted out by the time the games start and I’ll again experience the thrill of having to be two (or three) places at the same.
That does sound oddly easy, Delmer… I could cautiously believe one glorious glitch-free evening(can you hear the envy), but a whole streak of smooth scheduling…? Are you absolutely sure you haven’t just left one of the kids somewhere?
Thanks, Heather for tagging me. I’ll spread the meme.
[…] 15th, 2007 by pixelus Got tagged again today. I guess I wasn’t pedaling fast enough and Heather caught me! I’m glad she did though, as her blog opens up a lot of dream roads for me to […]
I don’t mean to brag but I just had to share this with someone who I think might appreciate it.
I just received an e-mail from a soccer coach. Tomorrow, two of my boys have football practice at the same time at the same park.. Even before their practice ends, the third child has soccer practice at — and this is the sweet part — the same park.
I found a penny heads-up this morning and, like a good, superstitious goofball, put it in my shoe for good luck. I’m glad to see it worked.
Everything will be done before noon which will leave the rest of the day for school shoe shopping.
